Biografía
A mysterious individual who is alleged to be the architect of the Vertical World.
[Spoiler] Gluon was actually a scientist who initially lead an interstellar colonization project back on Earth. When the earth was suddenly rendered uninhabitable by a catastrophe, the project turned into that of an evacuation, taking what few remained of humanity into the stars to seek a new place to live. During this chaos, his grand-daughter, Risa, lost her life. Stricken with grief, he eventually devised a method of interdimensional time travel to go back and save Risa's life. This accidentally created a black hole that threatened the lives of the crew of the ship. And resulted in the creation of the true "Vertical World" - a structure of "infinite mass" that could resist the pull of a black hole. At some point before the structure could be fully realized, he lost his life, and the ship's on-board AI - the "Omega System" - took over the project. [/Spoiler]
