Biografía

A brilliant businessman, trader and researcher, Iwasaki Tousuke is dedicating his life to the dream of popularizing the use of electricity in Japan. Although seemingly nothing can make him lose his cool, he hates mononoke with all his heart, that being part of the reason why he wants to eradicate darkness and all that dwells within it.

[Spoiler] Just like the heroine, he is a tamayori, a human with a high spiritual sense, and his hatred towards mononoke stems from the fact that a snake-like entity caused the death of his mother. [/Spoiler]

[Spoiler] It is later revealed that no only did the snake spirit play no part in that tragedy, but actually became a parental figure for the heartbroken Tousuke who was in denial about his true mother's passing from sickness. [/Spoiler]
