Biografía
Meiko is a sick woman whom Tsukasa saves from falling to a ground during a fainting spell. Her family, You and Kouichi, take Tsukasa in and offers him a job and a place to live while he works on becoming a professional skater.
[Spoiler] After Tsukasa placed fourth in his last tournament, he returned home to find that Meiko had passed away. Tsukasa says he stopped competing because he was unable to keep a promise to Meiko, as he previously said he would win for her and her family to give them publicity. [/Spoiler]
