Biografía

Akemi Miyako was a former waitress on Familia Café Terrace under Masahiro Kasukabe and is the grandmother of Shiragiku.

In her youth she had a similar appearance to her granddaughter Shiragiku, except for her long hair, resembling how Shiragiku looked right before she joined the café.

In the present she has grey hair in a short bob cut and wears glasses.

She is a very calm and considerate person. However, like her granddaughter, she gets drunk easily and acts weird when she does.

When Hayato visited Shiragiku's home alongside her to return the money his grandmother owed to Takao Ono, he ended up meeting her grandmother Akemi Miyako. She similar to the other grandmothers commented on his startling resemblance to his grandfather Masahiro Kasukabe, though she immediately acknowledged that they were different people unlike some who of the others who had though Hayato was Masahiro for a moment.

She also mentions her regret in never meeting with Sachiko Matsushima again especially after learning that she was the teacher and mentor of both her son Takao and her granddaughter Shiragiku.
