A young black man come to seek his fortune in the race by taking advantage of his prophesied good luck.
[Spoiler] His good luck comes from his stand, Hey Ya, which predicts the future for him and tells him the best course of action to take in the races.
Pocoloco is eventually crowned the winner of the Steel Ball Run. [/Spoiler]
