Biografía
Known as the Master Swordsman, Soga is eternally bound to Magatsumi, also called the Shinuchi, the strongest of the blades, and one of the remaining Enchanted Blade wielders from the Seitei War.
[Spoiler] At the end of the Seitei War, he used its "Malediction" to slaughter 200,000 civilians after the peace treaty had already been signed. He was subdued by the other blade wielders and incarcerated by the Kamunabi, who covered up the atrocity. He shares a telepathic link with Shinuchi, nearly controlling Kyora Sazanami when he wielded it against Chihiro. A cursed contract ties the other wielders' lives to his; if he dies, they perish as well. Despite being declared insane because of his actions, Soga claims he made his choices based on his beliefs and ideals to protect Japan. He is Chihiro's maternal uncle. [/Spoiler]
