Shiina, more commonly referred to as Usa-chan, is an overjoyed girl who likes to blend into crowded places. Shiina means "Castanopsis" (椎), and "Apple tree" (奈).
Her full name is a homophone pun of "Ugh, I'm so lonely." (うう淋しいな Ū samishī na?) which describes her personality.
