Doctor Ayumu was the human who created Kongou.
[Spoiler] She has been seen twice, once as a replica created by the Lunarians and another time in Kongō's memories while they were being passed on to Phosphophyllite. Little other information is known about her other than her occupation, name, and appearance. Dr. Ayumu is seen to have a kind, almost playful personality. She was affectionate towards both Shiro and Kongō, both of whom she considers family. Ayumu fits into the archetype of a mad scientist, having made multiple alterations to her body, whether out of necessity or not.She is shown to be indifferent towards extracting and consuming her own blood.
