As children, the twins Yanbo and Mabo picked on Kenji and his friends. Being overweight and strong gave them the advantage. The only person able to defeat was Yukiji, which they held a grudge against her for. When they gained up on her, Kenji stepped in to defend her, in which he got beaten by the twins. Yanbo and Mabo later destroyed Kenji and his friends' base as revenge.
[Spoiler] Much later, it is revealed that Mabo and Yanbo are heads of a large business office, changed so that they are compassionate and kind to their employees. They do not seem to quite remember how much terror they inflicted upon Kenji's friends in the past, as Yoshitsune asked them about. They claim that they were only 'seeking to become friends' with Kenji's group. It is then revealed that the two twins are devoted to Friend. [/Spoiler]
