Karura-Ou

Biografía

She is the Queen of the Karura clan and the Southern Bushinshou. She has a little sister, Karyoubinga, whom she cares about very much, and does not want her in danger. That was the only reason she stayed loyal to Taishaku-ten; she wanted to protect Karyoubinga. Everyone of the Karura clan has a bird who is linked to them, kind of like a Familiar. Karura-ou's bird is Garuda, which is also her weapon. She can use her own energy as attacks as well as summoning Garuda to attack the enemy.

[Spoiler] After Taishaku-ten killed Karyoubinga and fed the body to his pet beasts, it drove Karura-ou mad. She attacked Taishaku-ten, but the Southern General Zouchou-ten blocked the attack for Taishaku-ten and asked him to not kill Karura-ou, but instead, just remove her title. Taishaku-ten agreed to it, but the fact remains that Karura-ou had gone against him, so the people of the Karura clan could still be killed. To ensure the safety of her clan, Karura-ou faked her death, pretending to have committed suicide. (Since the Queen was "dead", the clan could not be punished anymore.) She secretly joins up with Yasha-ou, Ashura, and the rest of the group. [/Spoiler]

[Spoiler] In final battle she is killed by Taishaku-ten in a one-on-one fight. She dies sorry that she couldn't avenge her sister's murder but is glad to go be with her again, as her sister was seen collecting Karura-ou’s soul. [/Spoiler]
