Takizawa is a Rank 2 Ghoul Investigator. He is the current partner of Kousuke Houji. Currently, he is assigned to the 20th ward and responsible for the investigation of the Gourmet.

He greatly respects Kishou Arima and Koutarou Amon and admires their achievements.
