Yuuta's Father

He doesn't appear much in the story, but in most of the occasions he can be seen crying on his own before his wife passes. He is implied to not be good at cooking. He did theater acting for awhile after university, but quit when his career didn't take off.

[Spoiler] After Yuuta runs off, his father records his wife's last moments instead. Later, he shows the recording to his son, apologizing and admitting that he'd known all along about how his mother had been mistreating him. [/Spoiler]

[Spoiler] Of course, his entire character as seen in the manga, is open to the reader's interpretation, regarding how much of his life is real and how much is part of a movie. For example, it is very likely that the adult Yuuta at the end is actually played by Yuuta's father. [/Spoiler]
