Sinopsis

Today, mermaids and humans are able to coexist in harmony. Efforts are made to ensure that public infrastructure is accessible for both feet and fins, and dangerous boat propellers exist only as a distant memory. However, this was not always the case. When a young reporter happens upon Stephen, the man who kickstarted the mermaid rights movement after getting married to mermaid princess Chao, he hopes to uncover the full story. As Stephen shares how he transformed overnight from a mere employee at a shipbuilding company to a worldwide celebrity, it becomes obvious that the story known by the general public fails to capture the complexity of Stephen's life. While their sensational marriage captured public interest, Stephen shares how day to day life with his aquatic bride changed him, and challenged the depth of their bond. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
