Biografía

Alec Ygret is the main character of the anime and manga series 'The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest'. He debuts under the guidance of Eldas Miheila along with advice to never become a Court Magician. After Eldas' banishment, Alec takes it upon himself to reform the system by becoming a Court Magician. His own banishment leads to his reuniting with top school friends under the party 'Lasting Period'.

Backstory

[Spoiler] Alec was born into a poor commoner family, and his earnest wish to his dying mother Aria led Eldas to tutor him from childhood. Alec at the Royal Magic Academy graduated top of his class and even developed a unique “Limit Break” spell due to his “Mage Eye.” When he learned that his mentor Eldas had been banished unjustly, Alec resolved to become a Court Magician himself to reform the kingdom. Crown Prince's Party

[Spoiler] Having became the Court Magician, he served to Crown Prince Regulus. Regulus proved to be weak and proud, so Alec dedicated himself to protective “support” magic to compensate for the prince’s failures. Regulus abruptly fires and banishes Alec, ignorant of his necessary assistance, and also how out of his element he is as a support magician. Only after Prince Regulus fails Floor 30 in the dungeon is he confronted by the King, who reveals Eldas’s ideals and evidence of genius (including a Floor 30 guidebook Alec had written). Alec and Regulus have a fight where the mistake to banish was made clear, Regulus apologizes, and the King offers Alec his old court post. Alec declines immediately, instead encouraging the prince to grow on his own. Alec's real trouble was the fact that for four entire years, he had gotten used to his out-of-place role as a support magician, and his time with Lasting Period gradually helped him break out of his fabricated mental shell—to be trusted to do what he can. Alec's final fight of the season against Melea Diall showed his growth, being able to unleash Limit Break to help the Party to victory. [/Spoiler]

Lasting Period

[Spoiler] Yorha, Alec's old classmate and Leader of Lasting Period encountered and urged Alec to come back to bring the whole Party together again, to which he agreed. Now with Yorha, Ornest, and Krasia, Lasting Period was complete. Alec had a duel against Guildmaster Leviel, who awarded him S-Rank so that they can all work on the same dungeons as licensed adventurers. Lasting Period has shown to be a selfless group, helping out other Parties in rescue missions and difficult dungeons. [/Spoiler]

Marital Status

[Spoiler] In Chapter 182 of the manga, Yorha and Alec visit his mother's grave where he tells his mom he's thinking of forming a real family with Yorha. As she is stunned just listening, he clarifies by saying; "Marry me, Yorha". Chapter 183 opens right after their marriage. [/Spoiler]
