Appears first in the 11th episode - Moonlight Sonata Murder Case (Part 1-2)
Works as a doctor on the island.
[Spoiler] Narumi is actually a man named Seiji Asou (Simon Austin in the dub) and is the only surviving member of the Asou family. However, people believed him to be a different person not tied to the family. After learning the truth behind his family's death, Seiji changed his name to Narumi Asai, disguised himself as a female doctor and returned to Tsukikage Island to execute a series of revenge murders matching the movements of the Moonlight Sonata. After Conan Edogawa successfully solves the case, Seiji commits suicide by setting the community center on fire, echoing his father's death. He then throws Conan out of the window to save him, playing a final musical code that translates to "Thank you, little detective". [/Spoiler]
