English: Bullard may come from "bully" as Kane is already a fairly sinister name.

Japanese: The word for security guard is keibi, (Hence "KB Keibi"), and also where the owner's initials came from.

Background: Bullard has long used his security firm to help gain information on his clients, to be sold at a profit. It was he who discovered Atmey's identity as the mastermind behind Mask DeMasque, which led to Atmey killing him.
