A young hard-working journalist. Her death triggers the events of the "Bakeneko" arc.
[Spoiler] Ichikawa uncovered corruption from the mayor. However, before she could publish the story, her boss pushed her into an oncoming train, killing her. The injustice of her murder, combined with the soul of a stray cat, created the Bakeneko. [/Spoiler]
