Biografía

Haruka was a pureblood vampire and the father of Kaname. He was also the husband and brother of Juri Kuran. Haruka was described as being mild-tempered, quiet and kind. He was a pacifist who believed in the future, one who lived quietly and watched over his family.

[Spoiler] He was also Yuuki's father. Ten years ago, his older brother, Rido trespassed into the Kuran Mansion and wanted Yuuki for his own gain. While Haruka was defending his family by stopping Rido's attack, Haruka is eventually pierced in the heart by a Vampire Hunter's sword. Kaname comes and acts as a barricade between Rido and Haruka, but Haruka states that it would shatter his pride as a parent if he allowed Kaname to defend him. Before his death, he hugged Kaname asks him to watch over Yuuki. [/Spoiler]
