Biografía
Shigemaru is Yakko's father and owner of the okonomiyaki-ya "Mambo." A widower since Yakko was very young, he has raised her practically on his own. He is very attached to his only daughter and, being somewhat narrow-minded and conservative, opposes her involvement with a rock musician such as Gou. Shige-san is very fond of Hashizo and Juliano, and—in the end—he accepts Gou as well. He is a great fan of enka.
