Gen is known as "Japan's Strongest Anti-Kaiju Combatant. When he is on the battlefield Gen is serious and calm, giving specific orders to his subordinates. However, when off the battlefield Gen is unprofessional, lazy and childish. Gen presents as informal and rude with others, he will overreact when slightly annoyed and often argues with Soshiro Hoshina.
