Punyama, Father

Punpun's dad. He turns down a work transfer due to family reasons but gets fired from work as a result. He is unable to find a job since then.

After the divorce, he goes to his hometown Kagoshima and starts working as night guard at a hydro plant. He sends letters to Punpun every month.

[Spoiler] The one who was actually writing the letters was Punpun's mother. After the death of Punpun's mother, he offers Punpun the opportunity to start everything from scratch, but Punpun decides to live on his own. [/Spoiler]
