Alyssa Searrs is a 10-year-old grade schooler who is well known for her amazing singing ability in the choir earning her the nickname "Golden Angel". She is commonly seen with her caretaker Miyu Greer.

[Spoiler] Later on it's revealed that Alyssa is actually the product of the Searrs' genetic engineering program to design a "fake HiME". With her ability to manipulate higher-order matter Alyssa can control her Child Artemis, a satellite orbiting Earth with the ability to fire a devastating energy beam at a specific target and can even summon and control her own Orphans. Although she has the ability to control Artemis and Orphans, Alyssa cannot summon an Element to defend herself, which is made up for with the assignment of Miyu as her caretaker as well as protector.
