Biografía

Chizuru Yukimura is the main heroine of this story. She is the daughter of Koudou Yukimura, a Western medicine practitioner. One day, when her father stopped hearing from her, Chizuru traveled from Edo to Kyoto to search for him. However, an unexpected incident occurred on her way to Kyoto that landed her at the Shinsengumi headquarters. The Shinsengumi, having ties to Koudou, eventually agreed to let Chizuru stay at the headquarters and provide her with protection. However, as time passed, Chizuru discovered the truth behind the Shinsengumi, the Water of Life, and the secret behind her father's disappearance.

[Spoiler] Chizuru is actually a descendant of the largest and most powerful demon clan in Eastern Japan, along with her lost twin brother, Kaoru Nagumo. When the demon clan extermination incident occurred, she and Kaoru were the only survivors. This makes Chizuru one of the last pure-blood demons alive. Because of this, Chikage Kazama, the strongest demon from Western Japan, continues to search for her and wants to marry her in order to create a powerful demon race and preserve the now-extinct demon race.
