Cha Min-woo is the human identity taken by Baphomet, the ultimate and fearsome demon lord who served as the final boss on the top floor of the mythical Abyssal Tower.
Background
During his long confinement on the tower's top floor, Baphomet spent centuries fighting the continuous waves of human Hunters who dared to challenge him. Bored by his repetitive existence, he developed a profound curiosity about humanity and the outside world. He was eventually defeated in combat by Raven, the world's strongest Hunter. In his final moments, Baphomet's genuine desire to experience life as a human triggered a mystical reincarnation, stripping him of his demonic powers and placing his soul into a human body.
Awakening as a Human
Baphomet wakes up inside a dungeon to find himself trapped in the body of a deceased, low-ranking E-Class miner named Cha Min-woo (erroneously translated as Seo Dojin in early fan scans). Stranded in an unfamiliar modern world with zero status, an uncoordinated human body, and no special magical abilities, he must quickly learn the complex nuances of human behavior, society, and language. To survive and secure a life of absolute freedom, the former demon lord assumes the identity of Min-woo and begins climbing the Hunter ranks from the bottom up.
