Kertenos is the reincarnation of Tetsuma Masiro in Flors life. He was a slave serving under Lihanerra. They both traveled with Flors to Egypt together. He bought himself out of slavery and went to work in the Colosseum.
[Spoiler] Kertenos is actually in love with Lihanerra which led him buy his freedom and leave when she married Flors. After many years past, he came back to visit Flors but Lihanerra already passed away. It was revealed that he lost one of his arm while fighting in the Colosseum drunk. [/Spoiler]
