The third princess of Graycastle Kingdom and one of the central figures in the struggle for power within the royal family. Cold, farsighted, and ambitious, she combines the pride of a noblewoman with a willingness to step beyond the limits of convention when it gives her an advantage. Sharp intelligence, political instinct, and decisiveness make her someone who can not only devise plans, but also see them through.

A ruler who chose the Port of Clearwater as her base and brought the Blacksail Fleet under her command. In pursuit of her aims, Garcia is willing to rely on pressure, deception, and the lives of others, with little regard for the cost to those caught in her schemes. Ruthlessness, a desire for control, and a habit of acting through other people make her one of Roland’s most dangerous opponents.

[Spoiler] After her death, Garcia’s identity is consumed by Zero, yet her consciousness does not disappear completely. In the Dream World, she reappears as a new identity named Jia Xiya, living in one of Roland’s soul apartment rooms. With no memory of her former life, Jia Xiya becomes a popular martial artist, secretly affiliated with the Martialist Association, and devotes herself to protecting people from Fallen Evil and awakened men and women who have succumbed to violence. Later, she is the one who persuades Roland to join the Association and take part in that fight.

At the end of the novel, Garcia, along with Zero, becomes one of the volunteers who agree to transfer their consciousness back to the original world. [/Spoiler]
